Bit of a disaster today Dunc.

First run was hopeless , hitting 6K on the MSD pill , wondered what was happening when it dawned on me i had the GV off.

Next run with GV on , still hitting 6K with the msd pill.

Back to the Pits , removed the 6K pill , pulled some plugs to find em pig rich (ottoscope) , Pulled half a pound of fuel out the nitrous & retarded a couple of degrees , then get told no more runs. :(

Always another day.

Can't speak for Al , will let him say.

Dont worry about it mate, every one has one of those days now & then. This weather has got to get better soon, nothing worse than not getting a few consecutive runs in. I'm planning to go on a test track day once I got the bugs ironed out. I know it can be expensive, but nothing better than getting a few back to back runs, to get used to the car, the changes, making sure the changes are goin in the right direction.

The MK3 Cortina, is a great piece of home grown engineering, may not look much, buy normally goes like hit of a hovell :D

Some nice cars there, come on Al spill the beans :D

Spot on Dunc , how'd you know the Pit 'lifted off' , it was both runs where the rev limiter hit 6K & fell flat on it's face. ;)

lookin at your et, thats a poor mph for the good et, so you either lifted or the car lost power somewhere, ie your limiter

No brake lights, so assume no/minimal speed to scrub off
