Now THAT is spooky. I never had ANY of those problems. And the terminals on my starter do not point upwards. getting the two cables on was a breeze, as was fitting it to the bell housing. Apart from the header issue, my cat could have done it (if he could hold a ratchet)
It would seem then that all Mini Starters are not created equal
