well a lot of you will know by now that i had a little woopsie well got back to swindon at 5 and left the runner at kiwis got back there at 6 occlock to find him working hard so me and kiwi took the intake headers and heads off to find the head gaskets had blown to bits photos coming soon so anyway going to clean up get some new shiny bits and peices and hopfully run at the nostalgia

anyway started off saturday with a

1. 15.6 at 82.64mph
2. 14.9 at 93.06mph
3. 14.4 at 95.26mph

so i am well happy and well pleased with what kiwi has done for me

That's annoying :roll: you'll have to invest in some cometics from Wil.It won't be just head gaskets you're breaking as you start to go faster :lol:

...as diagnosed by Kev and me ;) . If not done so already, you may wanna check the flatness of the gasket surfaces. It did sound good as Ivor the Engine though - could have got away with entering it into a steam rally!

:lol: the heads have been sent off already and we are checking the block tomorow :thumbright: :thumbright:

I seem to remember talking to somebody about torqueing the heads on Saturday at Shakey...now who was that Simon? :D
