I did not take my camera you will be all happy to know! but it was a fantastic turnout of cars 8-) see you next month.

That is annoying. :?

Due to working in Durham, I was in Lancaster earlier than usual and we had the Monaco in the drive so we could have come down, maybe met up with Ian en route for guidance.

Can you remind me when it is (usually) and a rough guide as to where it is and when it starts/finishes ?

And we will try it some time.

Im sorry to hear that Sandy :( never thought to remind you,there were some good cars there including an early Falcon Wagon and also a 64 Fairlane 8-) and a couple of Elanor type Mustangs and various other Mustangs and Ford trucks,there was also a fantastick turnout of Rods 8-) inculing one i loved called the Shedster a little two seater thing.

And of course there were a good few nice Mopars there :D and my mate Keith turned up on his new bike,i also spoke to a nice father and son that owned a 6 bbl Superbird for many years and they now own a couple of Olds 442s 8-) sorry i forget your names if your reading this :oops: hopefully see you at another months cruise this Summer Sandy :thumbright:

Sandy, it's Rawtenstall cruise on Fri. It's not much further than Preston. You'd be very welcome. :thumbright:

Parking gets tight in summer, get there early if you're coming in a monaco :lol:

Hi Tony,

The father and son will be the Mimmacks from Blackpool. I bought my '72 Torino from them back in 1986. I found John Mimmack great to deal with.

They used to have the old Sammy Davis Jr. stretched Riviera for a while that came from Glasgow, plus, when I was a student, I nearly bought a 1970 slant six Challenger from them (1979 or so).

Not sure if I can make this Friday. I may not be down in Lancaster in time then we need to go collect the Monaco.

Thanks for the Info Sandy :thumbright: they are nice guys and hopefully they will bring the 442 tommorow 8-) will you have time to come in your daily? i know its not the same, but it would be great to see you :thumbright:
