Preston meet last night, got in from work earlier than I thought I would, nice sunny evening in Manchester, so last minute decision, jumped in the car, fuelled at Asda, hit the road, 40 miles later arrived at the Lea Gate just outside Preston on the Blackpool Road, much busier than the last time I went some 18 months ago
, just about got parked, but stupidly chose a spot in the far corner of the car park so I wasn’t going home until everyone else was
, 10 mins later the whole car park and access roads were grid locked (1 car did exit via grass verge / pavement / curb, but I think he’ll be making some underbody / exhaust repairs as we speak), a good mix of cars, rods, trucks, old / new etc. didn’t snap ‘em all, missed some Mopars too (apols IanZ and Jon), great to see everybody
