Pete, best of luck with the install. Completed my Blue built transmission install last week.
If you find that the transmission won't quite line up with the dowels on the block, just gently jack up one side of the car to get 'em to line up.
Much easier than trying to jiggle a heavy trans around like a bench press
Also, treble check that the new convertor matches the flex plate before you start.
I had a few moments of blind panic when the convertor bolts didnt want to line up! They only fit one way!
I've only driven mine round the block to a an MOT station, but boy will you notice the difference!!

Looking Good Pete! Like the wheels and tyres you've put on - good choice - Coppers like mine! Keep up the good work.

Right well, first off ive got to go on holiday with the girlfriend next week (which I didn’t wont to do )
Then once im bk off that scrimp and save for the following:
2 new back wheels (15x12)
2 tyres
leaf springs
spring relocation kit
diff housing
diff
prop (hauser’s)
the bit that slides in the bk of the tranny for the front uj
maybe brakes haven’t checked them out yet?????
Tranny dip stick tube
Alternator belt
And think that’s about it…………..
Yes si’ I do agree with you but with keeping the car outside its just killing it. Body work will be done this winter instead off the stroker.
Thanks for the comments guys, got the tranny in today and fire her up on open headers, nice
