Wait a minute... haven't we done this topic before? Couple of years ago?
 We have Adam. Its just that John said on Saturday I need to make my mind up NOW as within the next couple of weeks, there will be no going back. Mr. R. Runner was going through all the colour samples with me (millions n millions) and he could see I was getting a bit overcome by it all. Nothing like introducing an element of doubt over my original choice.

I am sticking to my guns. Going back to the original EW1 white, and red stripe. Stripe may well be painted though. :thumbright:

Why are you going to paint the stripe Clivey?

White is definitely the way to go and an orange stripe would top it off nicely me thinks.

Jem, a painted stripe keeps the surface of the car smooth, it looks cleaner, won't fade as much and won't pick up dirt / polish like the raised decal would do.

Orange would be nice, but it is a little too much of a departure from what was originally offered for the car. My choices are black white or red unfortunately.

Prostitutes lipstick type of red is in my mind.

Point taken about the benefits of the stripe Clive but it's not correct.

Seeing as you've obviously gone to some considerable expense to get the car painted and it's a genuine R/T then it's got to be vinyl in my opinion.

Like the sound of a white stripe - vey subtle!!

Some models (like the Challenger) only came with a painted bee stripe.

It does stand up to polishing etc much better.

Personally I think the car should be white. But if you have to have a stripe it should be orange, white, or red.
Those colours are in the order I like best with a white body.

Although I think orange and red look good, a white stripe would be a talking point and make your car different to all those others people show you photos of on the internet. There would be no doubt this is YOUR car.

Is that the original combo Clivey? I'm with Tony on this one - if it was mine, I'd paint it the factory colours, even if it was BL1 Beige with a lime green stripe...

:-k hmmm... :-k ... NO, stop it.

Anyway, it's your car, and you shouldn't take any notice of old farts like us.
