Sneak Peek of ACW Muscle Car Shoot Out

Went today to do the American Car World photo shoot for July Edition, at Bruntingthorpe runway.

Turned up at 10am to join with the Challenger :

1969 Camaro Z/28, 400 modded
1970 Mustang Mach 1, 351
Corvette Z06
2006 Charger, HEMI
Mustang GT
SVT Cobra (Richard's)


Went to the 2 mile runway, to test 0-60, 0-100, 1/4 Mile and Top Speed if you wanted to. The Challenger got a New PB of 14.8

Then the three classics were taken for a photo shoot, then the three modern. Finally a group shot was taken, and one of owners, and one of EVERYONE, with our custom ACW t-shirts

Later on there was a photoshoot taken on the move, with the classics, then the moderns, not easy, but worked in the end

There was also a Fast Ford team there testing cars, one Focus with 700BHP along with other selections, including a Lamborghini, and a Jag XKR


Great People, Great Day!! (And not bad weather either )

Got home at 7:30pm after they bought dinner for us

Great place for thrashing a Mopar Nana!
Reminds me of the time me, Dunc and Bri went up there to take on a Skyline for Fast Car mag with Duncs 8 second car....unfortunately it rained just as we got the GPS equipment out
