Price of parts

Following on from the mention of price increases in the Florida thread, has anyone else noticed that car parts are going up ?

On one of the US Forums, the FE engine forum, that I visit, they have found that aluminium heads have gone up $200 overnight. Something to do with increased cost of steel and aluminium.

prices are going up almost every day, cost of fuel is the big factor which eventually filters right down to the last nut/bolt, boiled egg or whatever.
