You asked me how you race a 4 speed, well study this carefully, this is how it's done. Yes, I know it's a 5 speed but the technique is the same.....

that must be why 4 speeds are called parts breakers - cant see it lasting long with treatment like that

yeah i certainly wont be trying that this year this winter is going to see a lot of work done to my car again including gear box etc

Very good, and you need balls to do it as well as skill - one missed shift without a rev limiter and you can get in real trouble :x
I always remember the tale of some guy roadtesting a Camaro who was powershifting along an on-ramp and the car got sideways after every shift :D Mind you, it was only built Chevy-tough, dunno how long those things lasted!!
Also remember reading a British roadtest where one of the invited journos was American and the Brit writer being a bit shocked that he was powershifting!!

Anyway as I've posted before, my boy started practicing early......

Our BT vans didn't like a powershift (used to let go after a few weeks of constant power shifting (full throttle, dip and sidestep the clutch etc))
