As soon as you buy a foreign car over 40 years old that does less than 20 miles to the gallon of course. :thumbright:

I have had a 440 stroked to 500 with Indy heads in an "A" body with all the inner fenders in place.

Use TTI headers, manual steering, no power brakes, mini-strarter is mandatory but never a bad idea, and its a mare to change the plugs, but there is a technique you learn.

I too have a spare "K" frame for LHD "A" bodies and mounts/torsion bars for a bolt-in solution if you are really interested.

I could probably rustle up a 440 in bits, or there's our old motor that ran 11.4 @ 117mph in an "A" body.

440's fit where they touch, which is everywhere; but as Blue says a BB "A" body really rocks! It has got to be the cheapest way of going fast!
