That grille has a touch of Cuda about it, looking good now...as far as those heater controls are concerned, that's got to be one for uncle Matt or James...

dash panel held on by

the ring round you headlight switch

the ring round your wiper switch

the ring round any other switch

all switch rings can be fangled off with circlip plyers. tips into indetations in the ring and undo.

the headlamp switch needs its knob pulling off......!

reach up under the dash while lying on your back on the driver seat with yer head in the foot well. brake peddle makes good pillow

use left hand up left side of the switch you will find a small N-I-P-P-L-E
press it and pull on the switch knob. it should just come away in your hand allowing removal of the ring which alows you to push the switch body through the plastic and metal dash

the fish-scale dash panel has plastic threaded lumps out the back which have nuts on. take em off

heater control

studs out the back of the metal base plate behind the plastic facia are accessed in the same stand on yer head way

you can then pull the heater control forward

it is connected to the heater box via the heater cable which has a spring clip holding it to a sharp bit of metal under the ashtray section.

the rocker switch is held on with bolts

you can prize it open clean the contacts vasaline them up stretch the springs and put it all back together again no probs. the main slider bows after years of abuse and needs some gentle persuasion to be the right shape again. it used to have little lumps at each contact. mine had worn away so i centre punched the reverse with the copper slider on some old chip board to replicate.

fish scale dash is a sort after option in Oz. its a luxury 770 version Option over the plastic wood version

think guages are held onto back with melted over plastic stumps. so don't flex it too much
