Damn those cheap headers!!

Just got in and it looks like I am going to have to "dink" my new headers to get them round the starter. :crybaby: Wish I would have had a trial fit before coating them. #-o S`pose I should be grateful its only the one dink.
I fitted some headers to a 69 Cougar eliminator manual once,the things were nearly flat once I`d got them round the steering box and clutch linkage :roll:

you should try the buggers on pinkie !! no dinks, but they're so big that the motor has to be lifted 18" up before they'll come out !

2" primaries on a "B" motor in an "A" Body - straight in....

Get that hammer and socket out.

My cheap headers fit perfect!..... Been in for 4 years now. NEVER a problem! How much were they? ?90 New. I will get another set and have them coated one day.
I am keeping this Mopar....... SOLD!

I had to saw a bit off the block to get mine in!!! I say saw because I couldn't get an angle grinder down there, took me 4 hours #-o

"A dink"? Mine look like they've been run over ....

That said I might as well wait till they fall apart before I replace them - looking pretty doesn't make you go faster :wink:

well at last i have a reason for cutting out my fenders , fenderwells miss everything excepr the wheels on full lock :oops: but who needs full lock when you have a 440 in a duster :D :D

Had another dinking sesion tonight,the drivers side one hits me deep sump too :evil: The pass side that I trial fitted fits a treat!!! :twisted:

I FITTED 2" tti,S in my 440 Dart, no dinking but i had to take steering link , torsion bars, starter off , jack the car about 3 ft in the air, pull the engine off the mounts and tilt it to install.

I put Hookers on the Duster, never again will I do that.......
