Did you happen to notice the pressure drop much on the run? Fuel and noz.
Most of us were having the same problems Steve as you now, thought i cracked it by massive purges on the tree

Steve , maybe not your problem , but if bottle pressure creeps above 1070 psi the nitrous turns from liquid to gas , which is the reason you can't see a plume out the purge vent , i had the exact same problem @ 5500 rpm , turns out the probable cause is the rotor phasing , seems to be a problem only on a nitrous run when cylinder pressures are high , already posted in engine section.

If bottle pressures are higher than 1070 after purge the plugs will load up with fuel until bottle pressure drops a little way out. At one stage the bottle pressure went 1200 psi , had to purge for around 10 seconds on start line , let off the purge @ 1000psi , crept back up to 1100 whilst staging , hence a bad 60 ft.

Was leaning towards excessive plug gaps on yours , but i think you said you regapped to around 25/28 thou.

Have you checked the nitrous filter on the inlet to nitrous noid? , unless you fitted it you would'nt know it was in there , did'nt realise the filter was on mine when i fitted it , only noticed when i fitted a new nitrous solinoid , hardly noticable as it sits in the -4 fitting into the noid.

Good move :thumbright:

Had a problem with the pressure switch cutting the nitrous on & off mid track , turns out the switch was to close to the fuel noid (pulsing) , moved the swich about 18" back from fuel solenoid & problem solved.
