Mine does that too . But it's not as shiny. Still, at least stuff doesn't slide off.

Hi Ivor,

good to see you at the Nats - sorry I didn't get time to talk to you either!

I'm totally totally chuffed with winning a prize. I'll put up another thread with a brief summary of the Coronet's resto and some more pics soon.

Yeah the Patina's great . Now all I have to do is put a really bad paintjob on the trunk lid, sand parts of it down, rub loads of dirt over it, and leave it to rust . Then it might match the rest of the car.
