More info from Rich Performance King
Steve
I have heard that the c body bars are about the right length but I never figuered out which ones were right. I thought about using 4 door jambs but I have lots of cars I have
been collecting so the need never arose. I know where 2 63 Dodge 2 door cars are that are too rusty to do anything with. That guy might cut out the jambs and sell them.
How big of a hurry are you? I made a 62 Belvedere from a 4 door to a two door. Not an altered wheelbase car. It took me about 5 hours. The doors shut perfect, you cant tell
anything. If I had to fabricate the door jambs It would take a week. I thought about having them stamped out. It really makes things easy, plus If you have a 4 door and
fiberglass doors you wouldnt need anything else. I will see what is around and try to hook you up. It's tough that you are in Europe. Anyway, I will try and locate sonething
for you but it might take a few weeks. The easiest way to solve your torsion bar problem is to use the stock ones. Just cut out the ends and make a tower that hangs off the
side of the frame instead of the stock location. I would rather do that than use the c body bars. Those are real heavy cars.
