leaf springs

Springs are crap on the back of me charger.

whats best to go for? Standard new springs?
Mono leafs?

any advice?

The third option is to get your existing springs re-tempered. You can add an extra leaf while you are on too if you want.

Hi CRAIG i got hemi springs on my car and they feel real nice on the road, But DARRAN off here went for the mono leaf spring's on his 68 and he said that they are also real good. So i think it is down to what you want really. they both can be got for a good price I got mine from CHRIS @ WASP

Think i will go with standard springs, but new ones, not re tempered ones.
My cars got lots of old crap bits on it of other cars, so it deserves something new.

Its very important that you make sure there not manufactured in Mexico (There Rubbish)
It makes sense to get your ones re tempered

thats true Alan MP hemi / R/T springs from mexico .... rubbish .. look ok but mine sagged about a inch .. in a few months

my original 40 year old ones were better ..

true get the originals rearched/ tempered if you can

Fitted some monoleafs and some new rear shocks on our roadrunner last night. Took the car out for a run this afternoon and it feels loads better.

Looking forward now to the next event at York to see if they have an effect on our e.t.'s
