So Adam's car would be doing about 2 to the gallon

Steve

I posted a load of what i felt interesting stuff here

http://www.moparuk.com/forums/viewtopic ... ght=browns

about browns gas AKA hydrogen generators AKA hydrogen power AKA hydrogen injection.

and linked it to another post that i made about a year ago

just everyone said it was a load of old c o c k

and prattled on about water injection.
and running your car on hydrogen

its not.

its a tuning aid and as such provides a moderate increase in fuel enconomy or power output....you are using it to increase the efficiency of the current process of burning petrol air mix under compression.

that part is good science.

how much gas you get is dependent on many things and some of them aoppear to be "New Ideas" hence some scepticisim.

regardless hydro oxygen mixed gas into the mixture to be burnt increases efficiency of the process

the E-85

why go with E-85 when LPG does the job just as well

E-85 has to be carburated

i.e turn a liquid in to a particulate mix with air and get it to stay in suspension round the corners in the manifold which will to all intents and purposes needs to big bigger and flow better

LPG is a gas already

it can't fall out of suspension.

has similar cooling effect

comes in a robust impact resistant tank that can actually support its own weight and structure when full (ever tried picking up a half full fuel tank.....they bend bad)

is happy with CRs up to 15:1.

if gas compression and storage techniques existed in 1890 as they do today nobody in their right mind would consider running a car on a liquid fuel.

PSW where is this ethanol coming from?

plants

to grow the plants needs fertiliser

to make the fertiliser you need oil

the fertiliser produces Nitrous Oxide when it breaks down
it is a green house gas that is 4 times worce than CO2

temp rises land is flooded

we currently don't have enough land to grow food on for the world population and that is with fertiliser use

no oil no fertliser

no food no plastic

all dead

There will only be Liquid PETROLEUM Gas all the while there is oil to be had, alcohol can be brewed from almost anything.
