My friend`s Eleanor Mustang

Post by Jon Connolly »

Went round to my friend Keith`s place today to see his newly completed car .... ( not my cup of tea ).
The build quality and attention to detail is superb. This is the second Eleanor he`s built ... the first one started out as an ex Dave Madders car and now resides in the next village to where I live.

MOPAR - Move Over Power Arriving Rapidly

Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay My Mopar upon you

Not for me. I never have understood this Eleanor thing.

I'm all for modifying and resto-modding cars, but why anyone would want to ruin a perfectly good Mustang and cover it in bits of fibreglass and pudding to make it look like a poorly thought out lowest common denominator hot rod from a second rate easily forgotten film is beyond me.

Never mind, one day it can always be returned to the shape Ford got right in the first place.

Oh, I'm sure the rest of the car is fantastic. I just reckon all the pointless body mod's spoil an otherwise excellent Mustang.
