End float adjustment

Hello folks,

Whats the procedure for adjusting the end float on a 8 3/4 axle?

I've taken the half shaft out and the taper roller bearing seems o.k.

does it mean taking the brake shoe assembely off and shimming?

There should be an adjuster on the passenger (right) side.

The instructions are clear in the factory workshop manual.

You really shouldn't work on these cars without one.

All sorted now,

Turned out to be alot easier than i thought it was going to be,

Better get that workshop manual ordered,
