Cable's

What are these cables supposed to be connected to, and what are they for?

I'm laying on the floor under the car, these two cables were taped to the floorpan, the end of the other cable is just a frayed mess.

If you cant tell from the photo, that 'box thing' (don't know the proper name of it

) the cables are coming out of, is where the steering column comes through the bulkhead.

thats an old pushbutton transmission shift cable

Originally a column shift car, so would they be from that?

Floor shifted now.
