Subframe Connnectors, a bit of help please

Post by Anonymous »

I am presently backhalfing my E body Barracuda. I am using 3 x 2 box section for subframe connectors. Can I assume that the connectors should run parallel to the sills? If I connect to the original subframes that works OK, but if I connect at the rear to the new frame rails, then the front ends up at the torsion bar mount. Should I 'dogleg' the connectors, or angle them? I am fitting a rollbar/cage, so am i worrying about nothing? What do you guys think?

No reason for them to be parallel that I can think of. I would NOT dog-leg them.

I would angle them as little as possible though.
