A FIRST FOR INSURANCE?

Post by Boz01 »

A woman rented a Citroen C4 in London .

She drove from London to Brighton.

Approximately 220km - In 1st gear.

She thought it was automatic.

Attached the insurance photos of the engine and the bonnet.

The "American woman who though she was driving an automatic in the UK" story has been around since I was a kid at the very least (the '60s). Probably longer. Usually the story is she complained of "the terrible gas mileage".

Those photos show an engine fire. Nothing to do with driving in 1st gear.
