Bored try renting this film - Doomsday

Post by Dart Vader »

This is a bit like 28 Days Later meets Mad Max

But I like the good use of old school special effects, lots of arms and legs and quite a few heads flying off in all directions.

Any, its never gonna win an oscar but kills a few hours and the car chase near the end with a Bently and a V6 London black cab is worth a giggle.

Even my stepson who is 13 and is way to young to remember the SD1 commented that he thought it was unlikely that is could out pace the Bently.
Did you know they filmed that race bit it in South Africa??

You do know that the engine sounds for the black cab are my old 318 Brisbane Taxi. Martin's old Satellite has it's engine on there as well......
