Good answer Will. Thats cheered me up.

.
Thanks again chaps for all the kind words.
It is really strange not having her near the dinning room table waiting for left over's. She used to sit by the table with her back to us , so as not to have us think she was after something

. And when we had come back from holiday, she would go daft and make a fuss, then when we got home would sit with her back to us, as if to punish us for leaving her for so long. And if you called her she would just ignore it at first
If I stood at the kitchen window and could see a cat or 2 in the garden, I would only have to whisper the word "cat", and she would dart for the back door like a rocket. A couple of times, I didn't get the door open quick enough and she nearly necked herself in the gap
She never caught any of 'em, but they used to sit on the fence hissing down at her while she went crazy barking and jumping, and you could see they were laughing at her.
She actually did corner 1 once, I could see all the fir sticking up on the cats back, and it was obviously crapping itself! But she was so shocked she had the upper hand, she didn't know what to do.

The tail started wagging and she started leepin' about like a lunatic because of course it was all just a game to her.
I may feel different about having another pet in a few month's time. But right now I just dont want to think about it. There will only ever be 1 Bonny Belinda, and of course i will never forget her.
