I'm afraid to say that I've heard that story too many times already Fingers, we've been running the ultimate "lean management" programme here since Jan 1!

I thought you were self-employed (Limo job, etc).

Hope things work out for you. Good luck :thumbright:

No Mate, limo went when Jo fell preggers with Nathan. The money wasn't constant enough so I decided to get a proper job again. I have been working for Westdrive KIA in Braintree for the last 2 years.

As many of you know I work in the automotive industry and things are really, really tight at the moment.

We are still reasonably busy, but it's all low value stuff...I'm paying myself pretty much what I was ten years ago to make sure I can keep my staff and not make any redundancies.

Good luck Fingers, hope it all works out for you.

Things must be busy at Westdrive KIA at the mo, I got a phone call earlier and I'm going back in tomorrow. They need to make their minds up before I find another job.

Did anything come of the "classic" job you mentioned?
