That's in Dubai, saw it last year when it was only very,very tall !!

What's also amazing is the huge apartment complex etc that's going up around it.

Dubai is just one big building site right now so steer clear till they Bananarama! all.

They build these buildings using imported Indian labour, they literally have bamboo scaffold pole !!

Glad I don't live out there anymore, traffic was horrid and the whole place lacked soul :rr:

Reminds me of being up the CN Tower in Toronto, looked down at things like that and thought the same as you! :shock:

I'd require quite a bit more money than they'll be getting paid to do that job....

From what I've read, those sites are run on virtual slave labour.

I worked up on the Nat West Tower when it was being built, the labourers there were paying more tax than us poor plumbers were earning!!!!!!!! Yep, that DOES make me feel old!!!!! :evil: Or is this the start of another mog thread!!!! :D
