Fitted a toggle switch to the pistol grip yesterday but didn't get to take it out because of the weather. Took it out today and confirmed what I thought was happening when I was out in it Saturday. If you come to a stop with the overdrive on, the controller switches it off. What was the on position of the toggle switch is now the off position  and to switch the overdrive on, I have to switch it to what was the off position. This is why they supply a latching push button switch (or a headlight dimmer switch). So I swapped the switch for a latching push button and I'll give it a try tomorrow.
Checked the revs at 70mph and it's just under 2600rpm (about 2580), that's in 4th over with 3.91 gears.

Not tried it yet, the roads have been damp ever since I've fitted them. Just driving to work and back it feels like I could do without 1st altogether.
