Nitrous Microswitch

Post by Anonymous »

Does anyone have a photo or a diagram of how a Nitrous WOT Microswitch mounts to a Holley carb?

I've figured out the rest of the kit, but can't see how this attaches to activate at wide open throttle.

Many Thanks

whenever i have fitted the microswitch to the carb i have made a bracket for it , some people put the switch on the throtle pedal but i wouldnt recomend it . all it needs is a bit of planninbg whare you need the switch and a simple bracket , if you get stuck let me know i will try to sort out some drawings of how i did it ,

Tim, i've got a spare bracket complete with microswitch that came with
my nitrous kit. If you can wait till i've moved, (wednesday), and unpacked
my boxes (no not boxers! keep it clean now), i'll sort it out for you if you
want> :P

Thanks for the kind offers guys. :)

I've got a microswitch (2 in fact) on mounting brackets, it's just working out how and where to connect one of them to the carb so it operates at WOT. I read somewhere that you attach them where the choke would normally go, but I never owned a Holley with a choke on, so I'm no closer.

A photo or drawing of how you've rigged yours up would be a great help if it's not too much trouble.

Thanks again.

Tim.

Thanks for the pointer Terry, I'll have another look and see if I can get it set up properly.
