I'm not the kind of person who sits here thinking the world is rosy because if I don't see something happening then its not happening. I don't bury my head in the sand hoping things will go away, I prefer to find out what atrocities are being committed and try and do something about it. Unfortunately Youtube has more than it fair share of atrocities. If some kid wants to video himself taking the neighbors cats head off with a slingshot, or someone else wants to shoot an arrow into an animals face to see what happens or tie fireworks to someones dog, then Youtube can provide all the evidence needed to possibly prosecute them. But it takes someone to find the footage in the first place to alert the appropriate body into taking action and try to identify the culprits. You can't just close your eyes to this stuff, well I for one can't.
Sorry for the hijack Steve.

I'm a head in the sand veggie. I just cant bear any of it. It makes me furious, saddened, sick all at once. The only thing in this whole world that really really makes me white-hot-fury is animal cruelty.
I know Dave is right, ignoring it doesnt make it go away, but I just cant. :(

It simply does not compute to me how anyone can get ANY type of humour or enjoyment out of an animal suffering. I mean HOW ? ? I just cannot even begin to comprehend. (although interestingly when thinking of doing said things to these people I am strangely without compassion and am pretty sure I could throw the switch without thinking twice). Odd that isnt it ?

Oh yeah, back on track, Youtube. Good for the funnies. NEVER look at anything else on there. Sorry...

Hey, I even get upset looking at the various scars on my dogs face and wondering how she got them ! And she has been rescued and now lives the life-o-reily ! Point is thats in her past and it still makes me mad - what hope would I have with current ? I'd get locked up...
