I have fitted hood pins, but it never occured to me to take the damn catch off!
But I think I will.
So many times have I seen one of my mates almost catch his head whilst looking under there, but with my worped sense of humour, I dont bother to warn them how close they are!
Mrs nutter nearly wet herself when she saw this. I have removed that part, its still on the steel hood, I have now got four pins and lift off hood and a hole in the back of my head

Reason is that havin hit my head a few times, i punctured a tennis ball, keep it in the trunk, and Bananarama! over the latch when workin on the car for any length of time now
