Power Brake Bell Crank Components.

Post by Anonymous »

I think I have asked this before, but I cannot find the thread.

Has anyone got an exploded view picture or a photograph of how the power brake pedal is assembled in a Gen 2 B Bod? I am trying to work out how to fit the bell crank and attach the spring to the pedal.

It isnt too clear in the owners manual.

Cheers

Hang on.

Clive you muppet. I gave you a copy of the 1970-71 parts catalog.

It has exploded diagrams of every part on your car in there. :wack:

Yes, I am a muppet , but thanks for the picture anyway.

As for the spring, when you look at the top of the brake pedal housing, there are two slots that run laterally across the top. The spring hooks between the slots and affixes to the brake pedal lever. I thing its some kind of return spring. ;)
