Changes in fashion

Post by Stu »

Stumbled across these and I can't decide if it is. Is it? Am I right? Blue??? Is that you!? In that John Travolta quiff and high fashion jeans? :D
24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not…

We need a formal letter of apology for those Jeans, but it's great to see the ol' boy with hair! ;)

Bugger! Thanks Stu, yeah really! And Rob, you've got me bang to rights there!

That Sunbeam Talbot Cabriolet was one of my ahem! better purchases from years gone by. I knew that Sunbeams rotted, but that one took the whole concept to an entirely new level...anyway, I was just clearancing the arches there before the 8¾" axle and the 10 x 15 Cragars went in...

Sorry, Ivor. Couldn't resist! :D (Yeah, today I have been mostly scouring the archives...! )

Good to see some traditional Gilbows in use there. None of yer girly aviation snips! :thumbright: :D

That's actually a proper full monty, Ronnie Wood Clivey. The only difference is he's kept his hair and mine fell out!

Oh yes, proper Gilbows, extended with ten inches of tubing welded on...still got 'em!

Oi! :D

It was actually a great driving car, it had the factory floor change (not the rattly old Castle conversion) Hartwell cylinder head and twin SUs...still wasn't what you would call a rod burner, but it didn't hang around...five roundabouts and you had biceps like Arnie! ;)
