Just saw Nine Below Zero (for about the tenth time?) last night.
Every time I see that band I am amazed at how good they are. Had a great night even though I was the designated driver.

Saw Chris Farlow with Van Morrison a few years back and was surprised at how good he was, particularly when he was doing some off the cuff dueting with Van the man.

Yes, I remember that well. He was excellent. Hadn't seen who was supporting and wondered who the hell the stooped old boy in his BHS coat, grey trousers and comfy hush puppy shoes was, when he came on stage. Then when he launched into Out of Time, it all became clear!

He was excellent. And yes, when he came back on and ad-lib dueted with Van the Man, they did sound bloody fantastic. An unexpected treat!
