Titanium? pah! I spent an entire Saturday machining that stuff up, it was a nightmare!

Next time I get hold of some, I'm going to ask Trev what the trick is...it cut like ally but was as tough as stainless.

Don't think they make ally megablocks do they? I know they are heavy, about 50lb more than a 440 block  The Indy iron block is the heaviest, something like 350lb bare...

Correctomundo, Mega block only available in CI

Ally water blocks are now only available from Indy & Worldproducts, still the odd KB available.

World also offer CI & Comp/Graphite block

As for Blue lightening everything, I am all for it. The last things I drilled, lightened were the head light holder buckets. Just gone to another Alley alt pulley, which also has lightened holes.

A few good hours with a rule, centre punch & a selection of hole saws, is very satisfying & only really costs time :thumbright:

It may not seem as though your reducing much weight at the time, but it all adds up.
In full race trim, with my old B1 motor, Cuda was a lean 2,105lb with me, excluding Battery, Oil, Water, etc.
Front
590lb 510lb
470lb 475lb

Now in full street trim, its around 2,350lb, got the actual weights & splits in the garage
