34 Coupe

Hi to all, a few more pics of the coupe, the build is coming to a stop at the end of this month, so they'll probably be one more picture post after this.
The seats that are going in the car, as you can see they are made out of an old oil drum

i've been waiting to see if i could get hold of these for a while now, they came out of a Rat rod truck shipped over from Bonneville, by Lord March of Goodwood fame after a recent trip out there, that truck is at Valley Gas having some work, and he wanted to change the seats

The rear window is a wind down setup, something you don't see very often on new 34 builds, i only know of one other that has it, i got it free so it'll be daft not to use it.
Finally pics of the tunnel with its lumps and bumps and dustbin lid style front piece , as you can see not alot of pedal/foot room but hey, its going to be a hell of a lot of fun to drive

That is looking really well mate. Particularly like the Ludwig gas pedal.

Yep fantastic build - particularly like the oil drums seats

I don't think I'd get my size 12 plates in there - I hope its not a 4 speed

Thanks chaps, I'm over the moon with the way the build has gone, Jimmy's has got a very strong team down there, and there workmanship is easy to see, as some of you have already commented

The front floor/firewall was done by Owen, he's Welsh but i can't hold that against him

The rear floor/bulkhead behind the seats and removable tunnel by (master of tin) Gary, oh he's not Welsh

I'm having a couple of beers with the team on friday, pop a bit of money behind the bar for them, to say thanks for the build so far.
I know that the column is already mounted, so fingers crossed for the pedal and steering wheel, maybe the headlights

Ok the next lot of photos as promised, just got back from Jimmy's, took over my boy Ethan so he can have a gander at his car, he dropped into the boys five crates of Stella, to says thanks for the build so far

So the coupe, the dash is almost there, the pod needs to be blacked out the same as the rest of it for now, it'll probably stay that way till i can come back to it later on.
The rest of the stuff in the dash i've had for well over a year now, i'd see bits on ebay, just picking them up now and again, not really sure if they'd work or not, but i'm pleased how the dash has come out.
A couple of things i payed over the top for, the clock is from a early caddy, the heater controls/ rear view mirror(not fitted yet) are 40's Ford, switches where a job lot, early Sun rev counter (a gem) is from our very own Blue, a personal favourite is the Vintage speed boat steering wheel

Oh nearly forgot the headlights are on, Happy Christmas

thats one hell of a build, the tin work is amazing. hope you keep the exterior look just as it is cos it looks puurfect, dont be tempted to go for modern rubber just to handle as so many do, and if you fit a modern sound system i will hunt it down and beat it with a big stick

Hi Allkiller,
The coupe has been moved into storage for the moment, the next work contract came in but a little later than i was expecting, however i have been picking up some parts from various sources.
Items just in are,
Rad,
Deep sump,
Prop-shaft from Denny's,
Steering box,
Steering wheel adapter,
Rear lights,
Gringo's 383
Just in tonight, twin centre squirter's for the tunnel ram/blower,
