Well, we got it off last week. The crank bolt had been gunned on with an air tool way beyond the torque required. It took Mustang Nike and his not inconsiderable bulk 5 mins of jumping on a wrecking bar to shift the bolt. At the moment of release the bolt cracked free, the engine that i had been standing on recoiled and I leapt 3' backwards in the air to avoid one bouncing smallblock.. and promptly landed in 5 litres of old sump oil. Which was nice. Heres a picof Mike and his home made harmonic balancer removal tool.
