Since it's Year One I reckon it's a decent quality kit. Prices have gone up this is the place I got mine: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/62-72-Mo ... QQtcZphoto

But they were a lot cheaper when I bought it.

Yeah, just checked my thread, in May 2008 that kit cost $595. Now it's almost $1000.

Worth getting a quote off Neil ( Wil ) on here. He does Viper conversion + SSBC conversion kits.

Info here from Wil on both, if you have not seen it.

Can't fing the guy I used.
60to0 brakes was his sellers name.
This was the same kit as I bought ..... floating calipers etc.
Says it will only work with 15" wheels, but I ad 14's at first and it was fine.

Think it worked out as £550 all in with shipping, but that was 2 years ago.
Price rises etc. it might be worth the extra and investing in one from Neil / Pascal.......

Just remember to check if the Viper conversion will fit 15-inch wheels or not. Last I checked it was not.

I have one of the viper kits the hard part to get is the stub axle it has to be a 1973 or later A body drum brake one and if you are going to put them on an A body car you have to have the A arm with the big ball joint as well

So if your 15" wheels are of a more modern design they might fit and if you use a spacer (which will effect the front geometry) they might fit also. :?

I think 16"-17" wheels would be a safer bet.

In case Mr Patina Charger has not seen this before, here is the original disc conversion information for Mopars.

Written many years old now and well before any kits were available. Updated since.

Some 15" wheels will fit with the Viper conversion, but I am having to run spacers to run skinny ARE's - which means changing the wheel studs as well for longer ones.

The issue with the Viper conversion is finding the '72-'76 "A" body knuckles; they are not at all common; despite what you may think....

As Pete said Knuckles or stub axles are hard to find it as taken me 2 years to find some. Got mine off forabodiesonly site in the wanted ads.
