Prop Shaft Shortening

Post by Pete »

Hi Guys, does anyone know of a Prop shaft service - I need to shorten the Prop on the Barracuda now it has an A727 in it - I need a prop of overall length of 44 7/8", and balanced accordingly.

I know reco-prop do it but I wondered if anyone knew of another place - Do Burnham Autos offer this service ?

Thanks.

Pete

There's a place in Leicester that does prop repairs/alterations if thats not to far away.

MJC propshafts 01162 323262 guys name is Alan

he repaired the prop on my RR and he's also shortened one for a mate of mine.

It's about 2/3 years ago since i had the rr prop done so with a bit of luck he's still there.

from memory he can't supply american u/j's though
