Software is more expensive for Mac, but if you don't need much of that, no problem. Just think of it as the Mopar of the computer world. Anything you buy to connect to it must be Mac compatible, most stuff these days is. I've had a Mac for years, I'm a convert.

What Blue said :thumbright:

Mac every time for me, given the opportunity I would never use another pc again.

If you want a Mac book air I think I can still get you one at a very good price.

Jerry, after my 20" iMac G5 went down I found it cost £700 to replace the motherboard in a £800 computer. Motherboards in Macs vary greatly in price....check what it would be for the model you are buying.

I have owned Macs since 1991.... I have never had one go down that I could not sort out myself. At this precise moment I own 8 of the buggers.

But I am definately getting 2 of the hacks, just to have a play!

Same here, we brought our first Mac into the UK on a plane from California back in 1984 and it still works!

I use both Mac and PC and in my view, there is no contest, Mac every time for me.
