Maybe I heard he was gravely ill last week or something. Unless I am clairvoyant?

Yes it is. But the older you get the more deaths you see. Particularly closer to home. I have lost a half dozen of my close friends that were about the same age as me. Several of my work colleagues have past away in recent years. One lass I got on with very well is in a Hospice at the moment and is not expected to last past the weekend. My thoughts at the moment are with her and her husband and kids that I also know. But to be honest, I have seen so much death now it kind of leaves me a little numb to it?
But come to think of it. I do feel rather glum today. :(

yeah i know what you mean i have lost a few freinds, the worst one was when i was in school someone speeding just hit him square on.I have lost lots of family members, four of which died last year my gran hasent got much longer and my dad is not well after impaling himself in the eye with something, been in and out of hospital with fevers, having an op with a good chance he will loose his eye providing he gets through the op in his condition, so i know where you are coming from dave and my thoughts are obviously more with my family but still sad when i legend goes.

Another nice bit of doom and gloom to brighten up the day! :thumbright:

I've stopped watching the news and reading the papers, because I'm sick of being reminded every five minutes that the "We're all doomed, our houses will be gone, the sky's falling in, my legs are bent, my nose is knackered."

Seriously... I'm jiggered if I'm going to be down about any of it. It's just a waste of my own time.

85 years is a good innings, I'd say. I'll be happy if I get there. Well done fella. :thumbright:

Anything about cars round here... :drwho:

Well it's too late now. You have depressed me and i am going to go out and throw myself off the Tyne bridge.

Might have a cup of tea first though.

Then again it is a bit nippy outside. The water in the river will be cold if I hit that. :? :(

Nah. Changed my mind. ;)
