Joe bought a '69..... This car was from the original owner! It came with a little book, that showed each time he put petrol in it! It has never been re painted.

Now the wierd stuff.... Joe rubbed the paint down in areas, so it went rusty, and he polishes inside the wheel arches to show the shiny paint!

And, it site even lower now!

I think the Veedubbers are really creative and in may ways true hot rodders but in my view driving a Volkswagen Beetle is deathly dull, I'd rather be welded into an old gas boiler and dragged down the road by an asthmatic donkey.

Very good video.

Fair play to the guy's driving too, not sure the video gives the full impression of the speed. I've driven a GT3 on track and they are NOT slow!

I love the thought of the Porsche driver looking in his mirror and just thinking "WTF!?!?"
