They maybe easy to fit Jim (once you know how) , but they take FOREVER to cut , weld & paint , had to use bracketry on all but two of em , also had to clean the paint off before welding em , by the time it became a walk in the park i was on the LAST one  , just gotta do the paper trick to get the holes in the hood cut for the fastener , then get it sprayed , transfer made up , fit the fasteners on & away i go.

These clips have to be fitted within a 2mm tolerance for the hood to sit in line with wings & bulkhead , if yer really fussy within 1mm.

Sorry Brutal, done a few Dzus's over the years, the more you do the easier they get :thumbright: hurry up and get the camera out, looking forward to seeing some pic's. How's the 605 coming along and what sort of changes are you making to your chassis, cause you'll going to have a shed load of torque :thumbright:
Petrol is for washing parts, Alcohol is for drinking, Nitro is for racing!!!

Only messin Jim , thanks for the input. :thumbright:

Really should have a cage in there , always said i'd never fit one , think i may have too , @ the moment all it's got are the 3" frame connectors.

If i install a cage it becomes a race car , would also be a PITA on the street. , might just get the ET i'm aiming for & pull the 605" & build a 512" , might even go back to a 440 stocker.
