Yes its rotary...no real rev limit, except destruction :shock:

Sounds like a 13b to me. With a bloody big turbo on. Common to use a Garret T04 on street motors but probably bigger still. Running a lot of boost.
Car is a Mazda Rx3 coupe, with whats called a "12a nosecone". 1972/73ish.
They are a lot of these in NZ/OZ but they are getting really expensive now.

BTW, If anybody knows of any Mazda R100, RX2, RX3, RX4 in the uk please let me know. I would love to have another one.

I love my rotaries... proper elegant solution.

(alright, this is a 12A rotor for the anoraks, but side on the size is the same as 13B...) :)
