Most hated car?

Have to agree about BMW's, but I think the real evolution of @#+** drivers has got to go to the VAG group which runs as follows:
Golf TDi (doesn't matter about trim level from base to GTi) > Passat > Audi A3 > Audi TT > BMW 3 Series.
In all cases it doesn't matter how fast your going theres ALWAYS one of those right up your backside trying to get past!
GTI= Generally A Tit Inside

I'm with Si on this one - Toyota Pious. Not because of what it looks like, but what it stands for. A car for people that don't like cars. But the stupid buggers don't realise it has more impact on the environment because of the batteries.
The ugliest car ever made has to be the Citroen C2, "cut n shut". What were they thinking?

Volkswagen Passat.
I went to pick up a brand new one as a hire car the other day.
It had no key, some sort of plastic thing that pushed into the dashboard.
It wouldn't start.
Went back to the desk...you've got to press the break pedal and the clutch to get it started.
Oh, I'm chuffed to bits already.
Got it started, now I can't find the naffin' handbrake.
This car is some sort of a joke, it's electric with a button that releases it, what a great idea, when you are on a one in three hill.
The engine was like an old tractor.
The seats were like granite.
The interior was like the inside of a cheap hotel.
In short, it was the most boring, uninspiring poiece of junk I've ever had the misfortune to drive.
As for the overall Passat experience, it was akin to being locked inside portaloo, being dragged down a cart track by flock of woodpeckers.

Citroen BX, those Darth Vader styled people carriers (something Indonesian I think), Phorshe Cayenne (proof that you can't buy good taste), Talbot Ranchero, Daf Variomatic cars, Cadillac bustlebacks of the '80s ... I can probably think of others.
Oooh, how about the Nissan X-Trail? The car born with a beige attitude

any modern four banger that ive owned as they always seem to give me problems/breakdown etc then my smart arse mates tell me i should have bought a such and such car as they never breakdown and are great value
