'Twist of the wrist II' is the better book. Combined with 'Motorcycle Roadcraft' you'll be sorted. If you want to do speed in relative safety, I'd recommend the 'Ron Haslam Race School' at Donington. They supply ALL the kit, i.e. one-piece leathers, helmet, boots, gloves, and bike. And you have a tutor who is an experienced racer. Could even be 'Rocket Ron' himself... :thumbright:
