Why is board so quiet lately???

Post by Anonymous »

Is it just me or is the board quiet, why is that?? does anyone else feel a bit out of the loop? " the circle" maybe??? seems to be a closed shop at the mo! IMHO is it just me??? Not too many new posters, possibly afraid to post incase of attack or blank!! is it just me??

 not sure myself, probably the weather and the state of the country, i'm off to Denmark to do a job in two weeks, i'll be there for twenty days' give or take a couple, hopefully skim a bit off the top before the wife gets her hands on my pay packet, and off we go with the Coupe build again :woohoo:

Well I thought the board was livening up with some really good stuff Mo!

Perhaps I'm just immune to this "loop" and "closed shop" thing you mentioned, but sometimes posts take off, sometimes they don't...I've posted loads of stuff that I thought was interesting and had it completely ignored, so I've just learnt not to worry about it.

The message board is only ever as good as the people who post and without the efforts of a fairly small number of posters some who post technical stuff like Pete Wiseman and Blue recently, others with pee taking and muff shots Duncan ;) plus the other more regular stuff, this place would be completely dead.

If you want to PM me with concerns, let me know mate, we are constantly trying to improve things and make everyone welcome, the last thing we want is a cliquey board, we ant everyone in from the big bucks restorers to the completely broke banger owners...like me!

What are you talking about??? The Workshop has generated more quality posts and interest in the last couple of weeks than I can remember, or aren't you interested in car related posts? :?

Agreed, The Workshop has made it a lot more interesting, maybe taking away 'interest' from the rest of the board?

I'd like to see some of your builds (past or present) go up in the workshop Duncan, how about it?

The workshop is top class, in all aspects, from cars to write-ups etc... just asked the question was it me or does anyone else feel the same way? if not then people will say no and my question will be answered! Not getting at people, just curious!!

Ivor, when are we going to see more of the barracuda?

Ye saw Ivors write up on the runner, great stuff, have been on here for years now, even before i joined up, dont post that much since i made an a.ss of myself at one stage over a wiring issue  didnt join on here untill i got my first Mopar after changing over from a lesser brand!!! ;) fell in love with mope's in 04 at my first nats, and was devistated when the deal for my first Mopar fell through at the 11th hour! (which coincidentally was this car)

But after that went searching for another car....and so on....

Anyhoo, im probably just having a bad day and getting al up in a knot over nothing!! as the lads say bloody weather and all the depressing talk at every turn!!!! :( so i'll try pep up!!! :help:
