Well, my Fury / Monaco mosheeen has shed a few pounds by losing all that arnco and fake leather trim off the sides, and the vinyl roof and associated chrome .

I have been grinding off all the trim studs and welding up all the bolt holes etc

Whitewall tyres turned inwards and i've just got some hubcaps for it today.

looks like a right clunker at the moment with primer everywhere.

Car has now gone off to the painshop to be sprayed all over in diamond white.

hope to get it back within a week if they are as fast as they say !

you wont believe this (sorry Martin, rub...rub..)

they've only gone and done it .. yes.. already!

And it looks fab, im well chuffed!

Just to recap, i dropped it off on Friday night.. they just rang today (6PM tuesday), to say its finished. ! all the body repairs done including refinishing about 90 welded trim holes and 4 big dents, and full respray.

And the paintwork is like glass.

Right, time to refit the door cards, handles, locks, window chromes, grille etc. Then when paint has had time to harden, the decals and Lightbar etc !

See you at brooklands!!

lol the mirror comments !

the paintwork looks ace, i saw it last night when i dropped Will off, as for the mirror, its a remote jobby with a cable that runs right under the dash, no idea how to remove it, so with Wills clever littlke brain, and my untouchable (as in you wouldnt want to) fabricaton skills, we, HE hd a fully floating mirror, allowing paint to go over the area under the mirror !!

get to it Will !
