Will have a look through my old pics.

oh right you had a 69 SE also ..good stuff ..would like to see some pictures some time :thumbright: , think the hole in the gromet might of been a case of a previous owner running some aftermarket thingy :-k
the plug should have a pentastar on the back , if its the original

Most vehicles have holes on various panels just for production line jigs that are 'bunged' after painting.

Could this be one of them?

Nice motor by the way! Good luck with the MOT.

yeah that would be Chris Garnia site ( not6t9charge) on dodge charger . com , if you have A47 on your fender tag its a SE

yeah philth your right but , this plug / gromet appears on random 69 chargers , also been found on a coronet , the very first 69 production C500 xx29 had one of these plugs ! also i have only see 3 or 4 other C500s with this plug ... the vins are all pretty close in their batch of being converted . but the ones with plugs are not close :?

My mate had a 70 Challenger, and that always used to break down at the end of our road near the petrol station!! I used to tow him in regular. Now its me being towed in.
Not bad though really , since its the first time its moved under its own power for about 19 years!! :)

Finally on the road!!!
A few teething problems, like leaky axle seals, rear wheel bearing noisey, and a few things still to sort out. Nudge bar to fit etc. but had a grin from ear to ear last night.
I know GL's aren't everyones cup of tea, but it didn't look right without the decals, and it was what I set out to do. When I got the car it was already orange, and had already been a GL.
Anyway, like it or not, here he is.
