Fuel line underneath car (MOT Regs)/Oil for autobox

Post by Anonymous »

I just wondered what the regs were regarding fuel lines running underneath cars for MOT.

I need to replace the one on the AMC and it has just a plastic pipe at the moment,a kind of bodge job.It has the original rubber ends and wondered if it should be metal/copper the rest of the way from the tank to the pump.

Anyone?

Also whats the best oil for a 60's autobox?

If it is fuel tight it will be fine, most all modern car fuel lines are plastic.
